FAQ 

We have created a Frequently Asked Questions Section in order to assist you with any queries you may have.  Please do not hesitate to contact us, if you need more assistance.

1. Q: How speedily can we deliver?

A: We offer three main delivery services:
 
Next day delivery

Provided that you order before midday (GMT) we can normally despatch your gift on the same day for delivery on the following working day. Gifts ordered on a Friday will be delivered on a Monday. There is a £2 surcharge per parcel for this service. The next day service is not available for the Highlands, Islands or Overseas.

Standard delivery

Parcels are delivered three to five working days after ordering.  If you wish to order in advance to avoid disappointment then we are happy to send out orders after longer periods. You can call us on 0208 952 7488 to discuss your requirements. Standard delivery orders received between December 1st and December 20th inclusive will be delivered in time for Christmas.

Please note that the dates above are approximate and are subject to confirmation for our 2011 period.

Saturday Delivery

Saturday deliveries can be arranged at an extra charge, provided that you order before midday (GMT) on the Friday before for a  Saturday AM delivery. The Saturday service is for UK Mainland only and not available for the Highlands or Islands.  

2. Q: Do you deliver any of your products to the United States of America?

A:  Unfortunately we are unable to deliver Gifts outside the UK. This is due to strict custom restraints on Alcohol and Food items.

3. Q:  How will the Recipient know whom the Gift is from?

A: Our gifts are despatched by carrier for delivery to UK addresses. If your beneficiary is not in to take delivery of your gift, a card will be left for them to arrange a jointly suitable time with the carrier to organise redelivery.  Each gift is despatched with your personalised message (if provided) written on a gift card attached to the outer packaging, so that your recipient can quickly and easily identify the sender.

4.   Q: Can you deliver to the British Forces Post Office (BFPO) or P O Box numbers?

A: Unfortunately, Gifts cannot be delivered to BFPO or P O Box numbers.

5. Q: What are your delivery charges?

A:  Each of our products has a delivery charge associated with it, which is applicable per parcel. In some cases it may be necessary for us to apply a surcharge to a product's delivery charge.

Standard delivery is available to all mainland UK addresses and will take 3-5 working days, for this there is no surcharge.

Next Day/Named Day - for orders placed before midday (GMT) on the day before delivery, this service is available for £8.99 charge per parcel for all addresses that are not classified as Highlands or Islands.
 
Orders to be despatched to Northern Ireland, The Isle of Man, The Isle of Wight, Scottish Highlands and Islands will incur a surcharge of £10.00 per parcel. All these deliveries will take 3-5 working days. For more details on our delivery services, please see delivery Info.

6. Q:  Do you deliver every day of the week and are there any delivery restrictions?

A: We apologize we cannot deliver in the evenings, Sundays, Bank Holidays or Christmas Eve.

7 Q:   Can I track my order?

A:  Yes. If you wish to track your parcel, please contact us for web site details and the consignment number of your parcel.

8. Q:  What if my gift was not delivered at the time I requested?

A:  Should you be concerned that your gift has not arrived by the date you requested or the scheduled delivery date advised, please contact us & we will make every effort to track your gift.  Incorrectly addressed items which require re-direction incur a fee of £8.99 to the original or alternative address.

9. Q: I want to cancel my order. What do I need to do?

A: The customer can cancel an order 48 hours prior to despatch of gift or within 7 days of receipt of goods. For further details please contact our sales team on Tel +44 (0) 208 952 7488 or email Office@hampers4you.com.

10. Q: Are the gifts of high quality?

A: Yes!  We always individually try all our products before we market them.  We regularly seek out the very best products, and continually update our range with fresh ideas. We only carry small volumes of stock on hand to ensure our products are rotated on a regular basis.  If there is a particular product that you like, we love getting feedback so we make sure we keep that product in stock.  Before your gift is sent, we quality check every product and hamper to make sure everything is in premium condition. And if we are out of stock, we will substitute an item of equal or greater value – so you can be sure you always get great value.

11. Q: Can I personalise my gift?

A:  You are able to include a personalised gift message for each of your recipients, with a different message for each person if you prefer.

12 Q: What if I want something tailor made?

A: Definitely!  Over 60% of our gifts are designed to meet individual needs & budgets and are tailor made.  We have designed our hampers to be very flexible, so they can suit any budget or requirements, however if you have any additional ideas we can create something special for you, simply contact us and we can discuss your requirements.

13.  Q: Do I pay VAT on my purchases?

A. Yes VAT @ 20% is included in the price of all products on our website.

14.  Q:  Do you have a brochure, which can be sent to my address?

A. Yes, go to the home page and click to download our Brochure.

15 Q: I am worried about entering my credit card details online. Is it secure?

A: Hampers4you provides a secure online payment system through Natwest Streamline. The customer should see a solid padlock in their browser status bar which indicates that the credit card details are being encrypted using protocol 128 bit SSL (Secure Socket Layer), the strongest commercially available level of encryption.

16 Q:  I’ve forgotten my password – Please help?

A: If you have forgotten your password, simply go to the ‘My Account’ page and click on Forgotten Password link. In the email field enter the email address you used for registration and click submit. Your account information will be mailed to you shortly.

17 Q:  Do you have any discounts?
 
A: If you are a frequent shopper at Hampers4you, we are sometimes able to provide discounts on bulk purchases, so please ask us if any discounts are available at the time of purchase.
